Intervitae: Intuition Institution
Intervitae: Intuition Institution is a single-player murder mystery visual novel where players assume the role of a detective-in-training—after death—at a supernatural academy. Tasked with solving complex murder cases, players unravel secrets in a world that blends mystery with the afterlife.
This game was developed as a capstone project during my exchange at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, USA. I served as the Producer and UI Artist, managing the team’s workflow while designing the game’s visual interface to support an immersive narrative experience.

The’s game’s UI was designed to feel scrapbooky and textured. Every element, from the textured paper layers to the grungey UI borders and icon scribbles, was drawn to mirror a student’s case journal mid-investigation. Animations are punchy and intentional, and the game’s art style derives from the visual language of Persona 5, Danganronpa, and Disco Elysium to amplify the grungey-textured look the game portrays. Overall this was a really fun experience as I had a lot of fun with creating the unique visual style of this game.

During this project, I had the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team of 10 developers, overseeing everything from sound design to programming. While working in the USA, I adapted to new project management workflows and tools commonly used by local developers which was Notion in this case, which quickly became one of my favorite platforms for organizing tasks, tracking progress, and collaborating efficiently.
